Landsman names 2026 OH-01 Congressional Art Competition Winner
Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman announced the winner for the 2026 OH-01 Congressional Art Competition.
Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in each congressional district. Since it began in 1982, more than 650,000 high school students have participated.
This year, Ankita, a junior from Mason High School, was selected by a panel of local judges as the OH-01 winner.
Her piece, Trials & Tribulations, was centered around our theme of the 250th anniversary of America. It captures our nation’s history – from the Founding Fathers to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Ankita’s piece will be displayed in the United States Capitol for one year.
