Landsman Statement on Third Anniversary of the October 7 Attack on Israel
Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (D-OH) released the following statement on the third anniversary of the October 7th attack on Israel:
Three years ago, Hamas terrorists murdered 1,200 Jews and took 251 hostages from Israel. Today, every single hostage has been returned home, and the war is over – which is an enormous relief.
The war that followed has claimed the lives of far too many innocent Palestinians. Gaza is in ruins and a humanitarian crisis persists.
Gaza must be rebuilt, and the Palestinians must be able to pursue a future free from the terrorism of Hamas.
The world must not turn its back on a lasting peace for both the Israelis and Palestinians.
We must reaffirm our commitment to that lasting peace and invest in the leadership and coalitions that will ensure we achieve it.
