Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (OH-01) released the following statement on the U.S. Supreme Court’s rejection of the Independent State Legislature Theory in Moore v. Harper.

“This is a big win for democracy, and I’m a pro-democracy guy.

“The hope is that this is the beginning of the end for partisan gerrymandering where politicians, on both sides, pick their voters as opposed to democracy where voters pick their elected officials.

“Constitutional districts should be all the rave now. That’s good for democracy, and the everyday voter and family.”
