Landsman, Carey Bipartisan Bill to Support New Small Businesses Passes U.S. House

Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (D-OH-01) announced his bipartisan bill with Congressman Mike Carey, the NO BOSS Act, passed unanimously out of the U.S. House of Representatives.

The New Opportunities for Business Ownership and Self-Sufficiency (NO BOSS) Act is bipartisan legislation to support Americans as they pursue small business ownership. The bill improves the Self-Employment Assistance (SEA) Program by making it easier for states to participate, encouraging more individuals to utilize the program.

“Our bill will help so many Americans turn their dream of starting a small business into a reality,” said Congressman Landsman. “It was great working with Congressman Carey to get this bill passed – bipartisanship always wins.”
