Landsman Leads Bipartisan Effort to Protect Healthcare for 22 Million Americans
Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (D-OH-01) announced he joined a bipartisan group of 35 House members leading an effort to protect healthcare for 22 million Americans.
Over the last few weeks, Landsman and 34 other members of the House built a bipartisan healthcare framework called CommonGround 2025.
The plan includes a two-year extension of health insurance premium savings for American families, including a year of the enhanced Premium Tax Credits (ePTCs), with targeted modifications, to be voted on in the House by December 18, 2025.
Landsman and members backing the framework also sent a letter urging House and Senate leadership to meet with them to discuss the framework and a path forward.
Congressman Landsman:
The largest majority in the House and Senate is a bipartisan majority.
There are a lot of politics around this healthcare fight, but what really matters is the 22 million Americans who will see their healthcare costs skyrocket – and the millions who could lose coverage altogether. That includes 32,000 people our district.
I promised them I would help lead a bipartisan effort to save their tax credits; to save their healthcare. This plan does that.
Give us a vote so we can get this done.
