Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (OH-01) released the following statement on House Republicans’ decision to spend the final legislative days of 2023 voting on legislation to allow whole milk in schools and impeach the president:

On the second to last day of voting for the year, with so many critical votes that we should be taking, they’re bringing to the floor bills on whole milk and impeachment?

You’ve got to be kidding me.

Of course, let the kids drink milk. No problem. Easy yes.

But this bizarre and confusing impeachment inquiry?

What are they doing?

No one back home is asking for impeachment. No one back home has told me they want us to spend our time and their money on impeachment.

Give us a budget to pass. Give us a bill on aid to Israel and Ukraine, border security, humanitarian aid, and all the other urgent investments.

But milk and impeachment? Come on.
