Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (OH-01) announced the opening of nominations for the 1st Congressional District’s Veteran of the Year award, an opportunity to recognize a veteran from Southwestern Ohio who has made an outstanding impact on our community.

From day one, Landsman has prioritized making sure veterans in Southwest Ohio are supported. As a member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs, he has introduced legislation and worked to advocate for policies that positively impact veterans’ lives. Through this work, he has been able to connect with veterans across Southwest Ohio.

Landsman is inviting the community to nominate a veteran they believe deserves to be honored for their service and contributions to our community.

Eligible veterans must be constituents of Ohio’s 1st Congressional District. Applications for the 2024 Veteran of the Year Award will close on November 25th.

Two veterans will be chosen – one from Hamilton County and one from Warren County. The winners will be announced on December 14th.
