Landsman Opens Nominations for 2026 OH-01 Veteran of the Year Award
Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (OH-01) announced the opening of nominations for the 1st Congressional District’s Veteran of the Year award, an opportunity to recognize a veteran from Southwestern Ohio who has made an outstanding impact on our community.
Landsman has prioritized making sure veterans in Southwest Ohio are supported. As a member of the House Committee on Veterans’ Affairs in the 118th Congress, he has introduced legislation and worked to advocate for policies that help veterans.
Landsman is inviting Ohio’s 1st Congressional District to nominate a veteran they believe deserves to be honored for their service and contributions to our community.
Eligible veterans must be constituents of Ohio’s 1st Congressional District. Applications for the 2026 Veteran of the Year Award are open from September 1st through September 30th.
Two veterans will be chosen – one from Hamilton County and one from Warren County. The winners will be announced in November
