Landsman: “Secretary Noem has to go and this chaos must end”

Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (D-OH-01) released the following statement after co-signing a resolution to impeach the U.S. Department of Homeland Security Kristi Noem:

I’m a public safety guy, and someone who believes you always tell the truth. Kristi Noem and the Department of Homeland Security have turned their backs on both public safety and telling the truth. 

They’ve created a public safety emergency in Minneapolis, and now they’re attempting to cover up the deadly shootings of two American citizens – Renee Good and Alex Pretti.

They’re defying a judge’s order to turn over all evidence to local law enforcement and continue to lie to the American people about what has happened in Minneapolis.

Noem has to go and this chaos must end. She should step down or be fired. If not, Congress should begin impeachment proceedings.
