Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (OH-01) released the following statement on the start of the 118th Congress.

“After a chaotic week and a very long night, the House has selected a Speaker.

“We were officially sworn in early this morning, and we are ready to get to work. Thank you all for everything you’ve done to get us here.

“Unfortunately, the same chaos and extremism that voters rejected in November took the reins in the House Republican Caucus this week.

“But I remain both hopeful for and committed to a bipartisan majority that will pass legislation to tackle inflation and our broken economy, reduce gun violence and support our police, and improve the lives of our children and families.

“Our office is just as committed to serving Southwest Ohio and being a go-to, reliable federal partner as ever. We remain all in.”
