Southwest Ohio Resident to Join Landsman at President Trump’s Joint Address
Southwest Ohio Resident Impacted by High Prescription Costs to Join Landsman at President Trump’s Joint Address
Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (OH-01) announced that Ken Green, a Southwest Ohio man living with Type 1 diabetes, will join him as his guest for President Trump’s Joint Address to Congress on Tuesday, March 4.
Congressman Landsman will be joined at President Trump’s Joint Address by Ken Green, a Cincinnati resident born with Type 1 diabetes, who has spent his life managing the chronic illness and the ongoing health issues that come with it.
Green relies on his healthcare to maintain his quality of life but struggles with the high cost of prescription drugs.
Landsman’s first bill this Congress, the bipartisan Saving Seniors Money on Prescriptions Act, will reform Pharmacy Benefit Manager (PBM) practices, creating more transparency. This legislation will help lower prescription drug costs and improve access to care for millions of seniors. Last Congress, Landsman’s PBM bill passed unanimously out of the House Committee on Energy and Commerce.
Congressman Landsman:
“Ken’s experience managing chronic illness and navigating the high cost of prescription drugs will highlight why we need greater transparency with PBMs and a healthcare system that works for all. It’s time they stop marking up prices so people can afford the care they deserve.”
