Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman announced the winner for the 2026 OH-01 Congressional Art Competition.

Each spring, the Congressional Institute sponsors a nationwide high school visual art competition to recognize and encourage artistic talent in each congressional district. Since it began in 1982, more than 650,000 high school students have participated.

This year, Ankita, a junior from Mason High School, was selected by a panel of local judges as the OH-01 winner.

Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (D-OH-01) and Congresswoman Jennifer McClellan (D-VA-04) introduced a bill to help retiring farmers transition their land to the next generation to expand access for new farmers.

Farmers are facing a series of challenges maintaining family-owned farms, including rising costs and private equity firms buying up large amounts of land – pricing farmers out of ownership. Today, fewer young farmers are pursuing agriculture careers because of it.
