Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (D-OH-01) released the following statement after nearly a dozen people were killed in Australia in an attack targeting a Jewish celebration:

The terrorist attack on Jews in Australia celebrating the first night of Hanukkah was horrific. I'm praying for the victims, families, and the entire community.

For context, there are around 100,000 Jews in Australia. The recent rise of antisemitism has gotten so bad that many feel like they may have to leave Australia.

Cincinnati, OH – Today, Congressman Greg Landsman (D-OH-01) announced his bipartisan bill to help Ukraine locate and track their abducted children by Russia was included and passed in the National Defense Authorization Act.

The Yale School of Public Health's Humanitarian Research Lab estimates up to 35,000 children from Ukraine have been kidnapped and deported to Russia during the war.

The U.S. Department of Transportation (DOT) has awarded SORTA $11,498,030 to purchase or lease low- or no-emission buses, build or upgrade facilities and equipment, and invest in workforce training – with specific requirements for zero-emission vehicle projects.
